Our commitment
With these actions, Sustainable Tecate Pa'l Norte commits to caring for the planet by promoting a circular economy, reducing emissions, protecting biodiversity, and making efficient use of water. We also promote a more inclusive and equitable society while supporting our community's development.
Sustainable Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025 Results

Circular Economy
- We continue to be a Zero Waste to landfill festival
- 135,000 disposables avoided through reusable cups
- 11 tons of recycled materials
- More than 90% of food vendors used compostable packaging, avoiding single-use plastic

Emissions
- More than 1 MWh generated with solar energy
- 2,500 people carpooled to get to the festival
- More than 17,000 people used Metrorrey during extended hours

Water
- More than 100,000 liters of water used in infrastructure were reused for irrigation at Parque Fundidora
- More than 50,000 liters of drinking water were provided free to attendees

Biodiversity
- More than 1,200 volunteers joined the Santa Catarina River Mega Cleanup, removing 15 tons of waste from the ecosystem alongside Parque Fundidora, Regenera, HEINEKEN Mexico, and Ciclica
- 2 pollinator hotels were installed during the festival days

Community Support
- More than 130 hearing aids were donated in partnership with Ya puedo Escucharte, benefiting over 65 people
- 13,000 people benefited through our merchandise in alliance with Doctors Without Borders, Humind, Ya puedo Escucharte, and Parque Ecologico Chipinque
- More than 230 people benefited from our food donation program alongside Alimento Para Todos

Inclusion
- 30 shows interpreted in Mexican Sign Language
- 120 deaf people experienced the music through sensory vests from Fundacion Ocesa
- More than 230 people with disabilities enjoyed the festival through our accessible program
- More than 30 psycho-emotional crises were attended at the White Point

Equity
- We maintain a 50/50 distribution between men and women on the volunteer team
